A wonderfully secluded eco barn with everything
Richard W
The Eco barn is a fantastic place to stay in every way. If you want seclusion you have it, if you want peace and wonderful views of the Wye Valley you have it. If the weather is not perfect then the Eco barn is a very comfortable place to be with lots of natural light and a very high standard of fittings and furnishings. When the sun is out you can open the glass fronted kitchen dining area and enjoy the stone paved patio, lawn and views of the valley. If it gets chilly then the under floor heating and wood burning stove keep you warm and cosy. When it's time to venture out there is a plethora of splendid places to explore including one or two very welcoming hostelries - all nearby. Max and Christine are great hosts and are keen that you have all that you need to enjoy your time at the Eco Barn.

As described in the details- fantastic location; rural and 'away from it all', lovely walks...

All that we hoped for in terms of a lovely, peaceful place to stay - both inside and outside - the chic yet also rustic interior of the barn was seamlessly integrated with the beautiful surrounding countryside and views via the enormous panoramic glass sliding doors- which we had mainly open with the warm weather. Some great walks with our dog too. We hope to come back!As described in the details- fantastic location; rural and 'away from it all', lovely walks...

Peaceful, Quiet and Very family Friendly
Mitzi G
We were all bouncing around on our seats as we drove up to the house, WOW what a setting. Going in the back door, a boot room, yes, no mess in the house. Then WOW the kitchen, fantastic, clean and very well equipped, everything you needed, then the treat, playing with the Aga, loved it. The house just opens up more and more as you go through the doors. When the children 13 - 11 - 4 played outside they went on adventures looking and finding Gruffalo holes, alien landing sites. dinosaur dens and when inside it was quiet, if you were in a different room you did not have to listen to their noise, wonderful. So much walking, the family were gone for hours while I played with the Aga. The house was clean, the beds were comfy, the house has a lovely family feel to it. Christine was very helpful, very pleasant person to deal with. I would recommend the house to any one. It was everything we could have wished for and we will be back.

Wonderful property set in a fantastic landscape
by Michael B
We had a great stay , a group of us met for a gathering and some walking. Christine met us on arrival and was ever so accommodating , the property was clean and well presented, It was deceptively large, the kitchen had a real farm house feel to it, and the log fire in the living room was roaring all weekend. The grounds were lovely ,set in fantastic scenery and perfect for long or short walks. In short we couldn't of had a better stay and fully intend to come back.

Glorious location, beautiful house
by Gillian B
We were promised total privacy and that is exactly what we had. This is something owners can exaggerate about but not Max and Christine. In addition the house was really warm and comfortable as well as superbly equipped. If you like beautiful lush countryside, stunning views, and wildlife you will love it here and may, as we did, find it hard to go anywhere else during your stay. We find it impossible to find fault with it in terms of what we were looking for and hope to go again.

What a Lovely Stay
Christopher S
We stayed in this house for two nights to celebrate my girlfriend's 30th birthday. There were 8 people (4 couples);the rooms were perfect, the location has great views and the owners were very approachable. I would highly recommend this venue if you have eight or nine person party.
